My top ten links

For those interested, these are my favourite links and oft-visited sites:
- zazz.com.au - provides daily special on mainly IT gear. Quite a good site to subscribe to. They have one item every day only at a low price. Often sells out if it is a good bargain.
- rememberthemilk.com - good site for managing my tasks. It syncs with Blackberry which is great. Allows my staff to add things for me to do.
- ultrapodcastplayer.com - the only application I know of, for podcasting for the Blackberry. It sometimes is buggy but does the job well.
- audible.com - been a fan of these guys for numerous years. They make apps for almost all popular mobile phones, Blackberrys and mp3 players. An annual subscription reduces the cost of books to about $4 each. Great value if you spend a lot of time in your car (like me).
- emusic.com - another site I got on to very early in the piece. Provides songs for under $1 each - no DRM - standard mp3 files you can use on any application without getting caught out. Has a lot of blues, jazz and old-school music that I love
- abc.net.au/rn/lawreport - a weekly radio show on topical law matters hosted by Damien Carrick. I download it and listen on my Blackberry in the car on the way to work.
- npr.org - USA’s National Public Radio - used to listen to this through News Radio for many years. Two great shows are All things considered and All Songs considered. I now listen to the latter as a podcast.
- nblstats.com - essential to track player’s stats in the NBL - although stats aren’t everything in basketball.
- Ozhoopsboards.com - check it out at least once a week to find out the latest gossip and what the sports journos are reading about (yes they do read it).
- sethgodin.typepad.com - can be hit and miss but definitely worth a read. He’s been the marketing pioneer of outside the box thinking.
